Standard First Aid with CPR-C and AED
In this course, participants will learn and practice a variety of lifesaving actions, including CPR for adults, children, infants and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. Other topics covered range from cardiovascular emergencies, airway and breathing emergencies, as well as sudden medical emergencies which include; burns, bone breaks, external and internal bleeding, head and spine injuries. The SFA course covers all of the material from the Emergency First Aid courses, as well as several additional topics.

Also included are emergency situations such as allergic reactions, heart attack and stroke, seizures, heat and cold emergencies and learning about our EMS system with how and when to call.

The Automated External Defibrillator, or more commonly known as the AED, is an essential lifesaving tool. This course will cover all aspects of how an AED works, when and where the AED should be applied as well as the basic CPR steps incorporated with the AED use.
